Zarathustra Style, the new album by Fabri Fibra and Neffa

Milan, October 8 (askanews) – Zarathustra Style is the new recording project by Fabri Fibra and Neffa, available on all digital platforms, CD and double vinyl from Friday, October 9th via Dischi Numero Uno / Sony Music Italy. Zarathustra Style was born spontaneously, from the idea of Neffa and Fabri Fibra to work together again after “Foglie Morte”, released in 2023.

Initially, a full-fledged album wasn't planned, but the project took shape in November 2024, during a lunch in Milan followed by a session at Fabri Fibra's studio. Starting with some instrumentals, the two began improvising, and within a few hours, five or six songs had taken shape, already outlined and ready to be developed.

From that moment on, the work progressed naturally, through writing and recording sessions that gradually transformed those initial ideas into a full-fledged album. Some of the songs were built together from scratch, while others emerged through a long-distance exchange of verses, choruses, and productions. The creative process developed without a precise initial plan, instead following the evolution of the songs and the direction the project took over time. The title Zarathustra Style, however, arose from an intuition prior to the album's actual release.

As early as 2024, Neffa had already used the expression "Zarathustra"—referring to that which does not destroy but rather makes one stronger. The idea was then revived with Fabri Fibra. After a few days of work, the artists decided to call themselves Zarathustra. At that point, concurrently with the creation of the intro "Zarathustra Style," Fabri Fibra's suggestion to also name the album thus became a natural fit. Work continued alongside the two artists' other commitments. In December 2025, "Impero" was released, built on a more combative rap approach, and "Strada Buia," completed only later by Neffa after an initial phase of writing. The final phase of the album took shape during a summer session on Lake Maggiore: six songs were created in five or six days, with the aim of further pushing the rap component and the more metric approach of the style. The result is an album developed over the course of almost two years, which also reflects the evolution of Neffa's productions and the different writing approaches both in terms of themes and in terms of styles and metrics in rap. The songs created in the early stages feature a more hazy and layered sound, while the more recent ones move towards more minimal arrangements and a more contemporary boom bap sound. Zarathustra Style thus also takes on the form of a creative diary, capable of enclosing different moments and approaches within a single path. The cover art also picks up on this idea, bringing together two central elements of the album's imagery: sheep, used as a representation of the general public, and graffiti, an artistic language often misunderstood by most, as is the case with rap. The cover was created by Deemo, a longtime friend of both artists. To celebrate the release of Zarathustra Style, Fabri Fibra and Neffa will meet the public in the instores of Turin, Milan, Naples and Rome.
