Rome, October 1 - (Adnkronos) – "To date, Italy has successfully reported seven installments of the NRRP and achieved 334 objectives, equal to 54,4%, a significantly higher average than that of European countries, which stands at 38%. Regarding the resources received, Italy has obtained 72% of the total resources, while the European average is 57%.

These data demonstrate how the implementation of the PNRR is proceeding quickly and positively, sweeping away many predictions of doom." This was stated by Alessandro Battilocchio, a Forza Italia MP, speaking in the Chamber in a declaration of vote on Minister Tommaso Foti's communications on the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

"This plan consisted and still consists of a huge number of reforms and investments that must be implemented," he continues, "necessarily through necessary and progressive adjustments. This process was conducted first by Minister Fitto and then by Minister Foti with great responsibility and courage, in constant collaboration with the European Commission. The current proposal, which aims to secure €14,5 billion, aims to safeguard the competitiveness of many sectors, including agri-food, universal civil service, university housing, infrastructure, and, last but not least, healthcare and integrated urban plans, which affect the peripheries of metropolitan cities."

"All of this was and is possible thanks to great teamwork and synergy between all the various institutional levels. This is why Forza Italia is in favor of the proposed revision of the PNRR and renews its full support to the Government, knowing that the Plan will be completed in the most profitable and advantageous way for our country," he concludes.
