"We need to consider different organizational models, especially since radiology is present in almost all pathways, unlike other exclusively specialized disciplines. Technology can help us with this: for example, through the effective use of artificial intelligence in optimizing standardized procedures." These were the words of Nicoletta Gandolfo, president of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (SIRM), on the first day of the Society's 52nd National Congress, held at the Allianz MiCo in Milan.
The conference, titled "Not Just Diagnostics: Exploring the Digital Universe," will continue until November 8th and will address new perspectives in medicine, from the digitalization of processes to the evolution of professional skills.
