The data comes from the official calendar of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, and the page is updated several times a day: a newly announced strike appears here, a revoked strike disappears or is marked.
For train strikes, the most affected are Trenitalia, Italo, and regional railway staff; for airline strikes, those at airlines, airports, and air traffic control. Local public transport strikes are also listed on the individual city pages at the bottom of this one.

Warranty bands and minimum services
Law 146 of 1990 on strikes in essential public services requires minimum notice and guaranteed performance. In local public transport, the guaranteed time slots are established by agreements with each company; in rail transport, the guaranteed trains advertised by the companies; in air transport, the guaranteed flights, including those departing between 7:00 and 10:00 and between 18:00 and 21:00.
