This doesn't mean, however, that young people aren't participating in public, political, and institutional life. 78% have taken action, primarily by voting in local and national elections or referendums. Participation isn't limited to elections; it can also be expressed by signing petitions, participating in demonstrations, and participating in public debates," said Cosimo Finzi, director of Astraricerche, on the sidelines of the Parma European Youth Capital 2027 project presentation event held in Milan, where he presented data from a study conducted on young people's political participation.
