Barbara Bouchet, a guest today on La volta buona, revealed a behind-the-scenes story about her son Alessandro Borghese, focusing on the difficulties the chef faced growing up with such an important surname. "He suffered greatly being the son of..." the actress explained, then told an anecdote.

“I must admit that many years ago I recommended it to a cruise ship company,” Bouchet confessed.

The episode dates back to the period following the shipwreck of the Achille Lauro cruise ship, which occurred on November 30, 1994, from which Alessandro Borghese managed to save himself: "After the shipwreck, he wanted to return to the cruise ship, and as a good mother, I thought I had to do something."

The right help, however, turned into a misadventure for Borghese: “I called the director of a cruise ship.

He traveled to Genoa for the interview, but the rude woman accused him of stealing someone else's job, 'you could just as well do your mother's job,'" Bouchet said, recalling the woman's words to Alessandro Borghese.

An episode that deeply affected the chef: “He was devastated and said to me, 'Mom, don't ever recommend me again!'

And I never did it again, he did it all by himself."
