A dinner organized by the Milanese committee of Futuro Nazionale , the party led by Roberto Vannacci , was scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, September 29, at a restaurant on Via Torricelli, in the Ticinese area , not far from the Navigli canals. The event, which was supposed to be attended by around 40 people, was canceled after alleged intimidation of the restaurant's owner.
According to what has been reconstructed by Milan Today, on the morning of Friday 25 September two men approached the restaurateur saying: "Be careful what you do, Vannaccians are not welcome in the neighborhood”The following day, the man went to the Carabinieri at the Gratosoglio station to report what had happened.
The dinner was then moved to another restaurant , in Via Bazzi.
According to Il Giorno , the owner of the building had previously expressed his concerns about the political initiative, citing the particular context of the area.
Graffiti against Vannacci on walls and ongoing investigations in Milan
After the appointment was cancelled, the story was accompanied by a new episode. Between Sunday and Monday, some graffiti appeared on the walls of the building. black writings against Vannacci and National Future, among which "Death to Vannacci", "Ticinese antifa", "Fuck Futurists" e "Nazi deaths"The restaurant owner contacted the police again and the police intervened to document the graffiti with photographs. According to press reports, investigators are verifying the possible connection of the incidents with circles of the antagonistic galaxy present in the area, also in light of the proximity of a historic social center. Sources from Futuro Nazionale have also reported alleged spitting and throwing stones at shop windows during an anti-eviction march that passed through Via Torricelli, a circumstance into which further investigations are underway.
