Chiara Nava Almost a year after her time in the Big Brother house ended , Anita Mazzotta is back to talk about her life away from the cameras. In an interview with Fanpage , the former Big Brother contestant explained how her daily life has changed since winning the reality show hosted by Simona Ventura, focusing in particular on her relationship with Matteo Pepe , which began during the show.
Their relationship, which began in front of the cameras, continued even after the lights went out. And today, despite the distance between Milan and Rome, the two continue to live their story with enthusiasm.
Anita and Matteo, love continues even from a distance
" We're still together and very happy ," Anita said. Thinking back on how their relationship began, she almost feels like she's looking at a story that's already been written: " Outside, our relationship is constantly growing ."
The geographic distance, with Anita in Milan and Matteo in Rome, doesn't seem to have weakened their bond. On the contrary, the young woman says she's managed to find a balance that allows the couple to see each other more often than she initially imagined. For now, however, there are no plans for them to move in together. " Not yet, we've been together for almost a year, and it's right to take things slowly, " Anita explained, revealing the depth of her feelings for Matteo.
“ I have had two other important relationships in the past, but the feeling I have with Matteo goes beyond that ,” she added.
A love that the young woman also links to her mother: " I often thought it was a gift sent to me by my mother ." Anita then clarified that there have never been any real breakups between her and Matteo . As happens in any couple, they too have had moments of disagreement, but without ending the relationship. " Never a crisis or a breakup. We have the classic arguments that all couples can have, but the beautiful thing is that they are always constructive discussions. We have never broken up ," she emphasized.
Life after reality TV and the 100 euros of victory
After her time in the house ended, Anita maintained some of the relationships formed during the reality show. Among the people she remained in closest contact with was Benedetta , whom she considered an important presence even in the months following the broadcast. " I hear from Benedetta the most. Besides Matteo, she's the person who supported me the most ," she said. With the other former contestants, however, contact is said to be more sporadic: " Every now and then I also hear from Giulia or Grazia, but the strongest bond remains with those two ."
During the interview, Anita also spoke about the €100 prize she received for winning Big Brother . It's a sum that, at least for now, she's chosen not to spend or invest. " I've put it aside for any future needs, as a form of security ," she explained. Her strategy is simple: act as if the money had never arrived, so she can use it if needed. " I didn't invest even a small portion of it; I took it and put it away immediately, " she explained. After her success on the reality show, Anita seems to have chosen to focus primarily on her private life and future plans. At the heart of it all is a relationship that, born in the spotlight, continues to grow away from the cameras, despite the distance.
