Cuneo, he hears noises in the courtyard of his house: he shoots at thieves and kills one.

A man was killed by a gunshot overnight in Baldissero d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo, after being caught by the owner of a farmhouse during an attempted robbery.  

According to what has been reconstructed so far, everything happened during the night, between 2 and 2:30 a.m., when the owner of the farmhouse under renovation heard noises coming from outside and surprised a group of 4-5 people in the courtyard, who had entered his property. He fired a gunshot, a legally licensed semi-automatic pistol, which hit the victim, a 35-40 year-old Eastern European man who is currently being identified.

The owner then called emergency services, who, upon arriving on the scene, attempted to resuscitate the man, but were unsuccessful. The Carabinieri of Bra and the Cuneo Operations Unit are currently investigating and are interviewing the owner of the farmhouse.
