"It's a prospect we've launched with great determination and which we believe could represent a crucial challenge for Emilia-Romagna's industry in the coming years," he emphasized.
The journey, De Pascale explains, starts in the Motor Valley: “The research into speed, technology, aerodynamics, and materials for the Motor Valley is the same one we want to transfer to the aerospace industry.”
BEX, he adds, represents an event with a national dimension: “We created this event in Rimini that unites all of Italy and therefore aims to be the cornerstone of a national strategy.”
At the heart of this vision, according to the regional president, is a consolidated ecosystem, which includes "supercomputing, artificial intelligence, technopoles, and technology transfer, as well as businesses."
"Italian engineering remains one of the most innovative in the world, and Emilia-Romagna is at the forefront of this," De Pascale concluded. "We should be proud of our expertise and bring it to space."
