From October 22nd to 25th, Bologna will host the new edition of Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2026 , the largest European exhibition dedicated to classic vehicles. With a surface area of 235.000 square meters , 14 pavilions, and four thematic itineraries, the event confirms its position as a reference point for collectors, restorers, and the curious.
The Market of Wonders: Numbers, Exhibitors, and Prices
Inside the Bologna Fiere exhibition halls, hundreds of international dealers operate—including Galleria Aaldering, Metropole, and OldtimerFarm—alongside a large number of private individuals offering their own four-wheeled gems. There are more than 5.000 vehicles , ranging from icons of the 60s to young-timers of the 80s and 90s, all the way to contemporary supercars.
Entrance prices have been adjusted for everyone: €58 on Thursday, €35 on Friday, €27 on Saturday or Sunday, with reductions for teenagers and people with disabilities.
The ten queens of the fair
Among the hundreds of models on display, ten models were highlighted as “queens.” They begin with the Alfa Romeo 164 Q4 , a dark sedan equipped with a 3.0 V6 Busso engine and Viscomatic all-wheel drive, and then move on to the 1984 Alfa Romeo 33 Quadrifoglio Oro , offered for €6.500, with a 1.5 L boxer engine with dual carburetors.
In fourth place is the black Bentley Continental GT , powered by a twin-turbo 6.0L W12 , while the 1975 BMW R 90 S dominates the motorcycle section with its 900cc flat-twin engine capable of 200km/h.
The third row of queens includes small rarities: the 1978 Fiat Giannini 126 GP , painted blue and bearing the "Asi" license plate; the first-series Fiat Uno 60 S with velvet interior and electric windows; and the 60s Ford Consul 315 , offered for €9.500 with its characteristic upside-down rear window. The final section hosts the red Lancia Stratos HF , designed by Marcello Gandini and powered by a mid-mounted 2.4-liter V6; the gray Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit with a 6.75-liter V8 and hydropneumatic suspension for €9.900; and finally the "first-series-and-a-half" Volkswagen Golf in metallic silver, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro.
Legends of Endurance Racing: The “Icons of Speed” Exhibition
The central theme of the 2026 edition is the Icons of Speed – Endurance Legends exhibition , which reconstructs more than fifty years of endurance racing. Twelve racing cars are located in the entrance pavilion on Via Costituzione, including the Porsche 917 in Gulf livery, the Porsche 956 Rothmans , the 1989 Le Mans-winning Sauber C9 , the Bentley EXP Speed 8 (2001 podium finisher), and the famous Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo, LC1, and LC2 . Rarities such as the Bugatti EB110 LM , the only car to have raced at Le Mans, the Maserati MC12 Corsa (only 15 examples built), and the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 complete the picture.
Many of these masterpieces come from internationally renowned collections, including the Nationales Automuseum – The Loh Collection and the Gino Macaluso Foundation for Historic Cars. For model car enthusiasts, Spark has launched a limited edition 1:43 scale Lancia LC1 , available exclusively at the show.
Other attractions: rally, Corvette and heritage
In addition to the "Endurance" section, the Show offers a series of collateral events. The Group B Rally , organized with Rallylegend, celebrates the turbocharged monsters of rallying's golden age. European Corvette Day , scheduled for October 25, brings together American sportscars in collaboration with the National Corvette Museum of Kentucky and the CNO American Motors Club.
The “Heritage” sector sees the participation of Stellantis with Alfa Romeo, the Motor Valley Pavilion, the ASI Village and the ACI space, while an area dedicated to original spare parts, model making and vintage watches is managed by Time on Show and Beauty Garage by Cosmoprof.
Finally, the fair emphasizes the social impact of classic motoring: the FIVA federation, which brings together 71 countries, reports that in Italy more than 20 million people identify as classic vehicle enthusiasts. Inclusive projects involve people with disabilities and young people, promoting the use of biofuels to reduce emissions from classic cars.
