Claude Sarrailh, from November, will be the CEO and general manager of Esselunga.
The French manager has 30 years of international experience and is renowned for his results-oriented and innovation-driven approach. He has a particular focus on the challenges of artificial intelligence. He is currently CEO of Ahold Delhaize for Europe and Indonesia.

Marina Caprotti, executive chairman of Esselunga, wanted to comment on the arrival of Claude Sarrailh at the head of the group. "Almost ten years after my father's passing, Esselunga is entering a new phase of evolution and strengthening of its governance.” he declared, underlining that he had chosen a manager with great international experience, capable of reconciling vision and concreteness.
