Fiorello makes the surprise announcement: "We'll be back on Rai1." But he doesn't reveal anything else.

È l’annuncio a sorpresa, fatto da Rosario Fiorello in apertura della puntata odierna de ‘La Pennicanza’, il programma in onda dal lunedì al venerdì alle ore 13.45 su Rai Radio2 (e in versione visual sul canale 202 del digitale terrestre e su RaiPlay) che lo showman conduce insieme a Fabrizio Biggio.

Fiorello announced the news without providing further details, joking with Biggio and the audience: "I don't know if you'll be happy. Don't ask me why or how," he added live. The return follows the huge ratings success of October 18th, when Fiorello brought the variety show back to TV immediately after the evening news with "TG1 edizione più che straordinaria."

The show, 15 minutes of new-generation variety with guests, gags with Biggio, and the involvement of the editorial team's journalists, won over 4.826.000 viewers, achieving a 26,3% share.
