A fire broke out on the top floor of a building in Milan. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Fear erupted on the evening of Friday, September 18, in Cologno Monzese, where a fire broke out on the top floor of a large building on Via Kennedy, in the Cologno Sud neighborhood. The flames broke out around 11:30 PM and caused extensive damage to the home, which was declared uninhabitable. Fortunately, the family living in the apartment was not home at the time of the fire.

The alarm, however, triggered a mobilization of rescue services and several residents, worried about the smoke and flames , took to the streets.

The report reached 112 shortly after the fire began. Several firefighting vehicles from the Milan Provincial Command responded to the scene , engaging in extensive extinguishing operations.

Carabinieri officers from the Sesto San Giovanni Company and emergency personnel from 118 also arrived on Via Kennedy, ready to intervene if necessary.

The flames reached the top floor of the building , causing such damage that the apartment was unusable. Firefighters also had to work to remove the smoke that had accumulated inside the building, using special fans.

The fire caused moments of great concern among residents of the building and the surrounding area, but fortunately no one was injured or poisoned. This outcome avoided even more serious consequences, given the time of day and the location of the apartment involved.

The work continued for a long time, until the area was completely secured. The family living in the apartment now has to deal with the housing situation caused by the building's uninhabitability, severely damaged by the fire.
