(Adnkronos) – "For decades, welfare has been living in a silent paradox. The more it expanded to protect, the more complex it became, and that complexity ended up repelling precisely those who needed protection most. Arianna was created to break this cycle." This was stated by INPS President Gabriele Fava at the presentation of Arianna, the institute's new digital assistant based on artificial intelligence, at the INPS General Directorate headquarters in Rome.
In addition to President Fava, the initiative was attended by Alessio Butti, Undersecretary of the Presidency of the Council for Innovation, Valeria Vittimberga, Director General of INPS, and Massimiliano D'Angelo, Director of the Central Directorate for Technology, Information Technology, and Innovation at INPS. The meeting was moderated by Diego De Felice, Director of the Central Directorate for Communications at INPS.
"For the first time, the most advanced technology is also the simplest to use, and it gives more to those with fewer tools," Fava explained. "It works on words, which are the very substance of institutions, and for this reason it must remain in public hands. Arianna is governed by INPS and speaks only with its verified voice, because the State may be complex but it can never be ambiguous."
And every simple answer entrusted to the machine gives back human time to those who need someone by their side. For generations, it was the citizen who had to understand the state. Now it is the state that must learn to understand the citizen."
