(Adnkronos) – Minsait, an Indra Group company, has created Suedtirol.info for Idm Südtirol Alto Adige, the agency for the development and marketing of the South Tyrolean region. This integrated digital ecosystem redefines the way South Tyrol presents itself to the world. The new hub brings together the region's digital content and services on a single platform, accompanying the transition to a single portal connecting travelers, local operators, and regional content, and becoming the point of reference for the entire South Tyrolean digital ecosystem.
The solution was developed in collaboration with Adobe, which provided its content management technology (Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service) as the driving force behind the entire architecture. The project arose from the need to organize a wealth of information distributed across multiple channels and platforms, transforming it into a single, coherent, accessible digital infrastructure open to international markets.
The platform manages content in multiple languages, automatically updates partner sites, and ensures a consistent brand image across all channels, including the official South Tyrol app, which shares the same content and services in real time with the portal. The results speak for themselves. In the first six months since going live, suedtirol.info recorded a 51% increase in portal traffic, a 72% increase in new visitors, a 24% increase in the volume of requests received from the site, and a 42% increase in bookings.
The portal has achieved excellent performance in SEO indexing metrics, ensuring maximum visibility on international search engines, and has significantly improved digital accessibility, expanding the number of people who can use it.
According to Michael Bernhart, Head of Technologies at IDM Südtirol Alto Adige, "with this project, we finally have a single digital voice for the entire region. It's not just a more modern website: it's the meeting point for those who want to discover South Tyrol and those who live, work, and promote it every day. Thanks to this platform, we can reach our guests in a more consistent and personal way, across all the markets we operate in, and offer our local partners visibility that previously required much greater effort." "The IDM Südtirol Alto Adige project demonstrates how technology, when designed with the right vision, can transform a region into a digital ecosystem of excellence. We have built an infrastructure capable of seamlessly and consistently connecting people, content, and services, placing the traveler experience at the center while enhancing the assets of each local operator. This is exactly the kind of impact Minsait seeks whenever it supports institutions in their digital transformation journey," stated Igino Di Lello, Head of IT Strategy & Web Portals at Indra Group in Italy.
The project's underlying principle is simple: each piece of content is created only once and automatically published across all channels—the portal, the official app, and partner sites—always updated and consistent, in every language. This eliminates duplication, allowing Idm Südtirol Alto Adige's editorial teams to work faster and more efficiently. Images and multimedia materials are optimized to load quickly and easily on any device, from smartphones to computers. Around this core, Minsait has built an ecosystem of services designed to support travelers at every stage of their journey: a system that recognizes their preferences and personalizes communications, from initial searches to bookings; analytics tools that help understand what users are searching for, always in full compliance with privacy regulations; reliable and secure connections with booking systems and local operator platforms to ensure consistently consistent information and availability, under all conditions. Particular attention was paid to the search engine, one of the project's most important elements. Today, the portal understands what users are looking for, suggests results as they type, offers helpful alternatives even when a search fails, and reduces the number of steps required to book. The result is a more intuitive experience, transforming every search into an opportunity to easily find what you're looking for. From the earliest stages, the goal was to build a platform that truly works for everyone: accessible to those using assistive technologies, compliant with the main international accessibility standards, fast on any device, and mindful of digital resource consumption. The result is a portal that excludes no user and offers a seamless experience regardless of device or available connection, reflecting the values of quality and inclusiveness that distinguish the Südtirol Premium brand. The new hub contributes to positioning South Tyrol as one of the most attractive and sustainable habitats in Europe. Furthermore, the platform was designed using open standards that ensure its autonomy and freedom to evolve over time, and is ready to grow with the region, expanding into new areas and services in the future.
