The storm unleashed by Donald Trump continues with a series of moves, none of which are causal, in recent days: first, the announcement of his "diesel pact" with Putin and Russia's supply of a total of 4,8 million tons of diesel; then a U-turn on President Zelensky, who, according to the American tycoon, should step down for new elections and a new leader; finally, the "energy truce," meaning a halt to attacks on energy infrastructure, a unilateral announcement never agreed to or accepted by Kiev, much less Moscow.

Attacks continue and intensify.
Added to all this is the controversy over the hypothesis that Trump gave the order to stop intelligence information to Kiev.
And finally, a very harsh—and worrying—measure for Ukraine, which saw its access to Starlink restricted without any warning. Consider that Kiev relies on Elon Musk's satellite network for numerous applications, including the medium-range drones it uses to target Russian logistics in occupied territories.
Intelligence and Starlink are the issues – or problems – that Zelensky stressed he wants to discuss with Trump, who – the Ukrainian leader added – “is choosing the wrong side of history” and this “is painful”, he added, reiterating that “Ukraine is ready for any type of ceasefire”.
