Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – "In past years, we have always supported strategic initiatives outside of our regular programming. We did so, for example, with the 7 Tesla MRI and, today, with a possible commitment to the research tower at Padua's new hospital." This is what Rosario Rizzuto, president of the Cariparo Foundation, told Adnkronos Salute today in Venice, at the presentation of the financial plan for Padua's new hospital by Governor Alberto Stefani. He explained the Foundation's motivations for supporting the new facility.
“This project encompasses innovation and technology,” Rizzuto continues. “We believe it's important to address these issues, and we'll do so with the University, which shares the same vision.
Naturally, the Region will also be involved in the construction of the research tower. We will begin a joint discussion on this, and I will, of course, discuss it with our bodies. I don't want to give any figures, especially since it's still premature, but for us, this is a strategic project, and focusing especially on the innovative aspects, related to technology and research, is fully within the Foundation's mission.
