A very serious fatal accident occurred in Andria after the one that occurred last evening between a car and a truck.
The accident occurred around 11 this morning, Saturday 20 September, in the Montefaraone district, in the Santissimo Salvatore area, on the outskirts of Andria.
The dynamics of the accident
What happened? A car, a Peugeot with four people on board, collided with a truck . The driver of the small car died instantly, while the three passengers—two, a 37-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man—were injured and were taken to the hospitals in Andria and Barletta, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
The victim is Antonio Grumo, 35 years old.
Investigations ongoing
Two vehicles were involved: a Peugeot and a truck, which, for reasons yet to be determined, collided while traveling on a narrow country road. Local police officers and emergency personnel responded to the scene.

The funeral for Antonio Grumo will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 22, at the Basilica of Our Lady of Miracles.
Before the funeral, his body will rest at the Oasi Madonna dei Miracoli, located in Piazza San Pio X. Antonio, a hard worker, was well-known in the city. He leaves behind his wife Raffaella and his son Vito Andrea, his parents Vito and Lucia, and his three sisters, Maria, Teresa, and Adele.
