(Adnkronos) – The record SuperEnalotto win today, Friday, September 11th, is a dream come true. But how much of those over €223 million are left for the winners? And it's important to remember that the winnings must be collected within a certain period.

Of tonight's million-dollar win, approximately €44,6 million will be returned to the state coffers: this is the result of the "Luck Tax," which, Agipronews reports, provides for a 20% levy, calculated on the portion exceeding €500 of winnings.

The SuperEnalotto rules stipulate that the jackpot winner must present the receipt for the winning play within 90 days of the publication of the official bulletin on the website www.superenalotto.it to one of the Sisal SpA Prize Offices (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm) at Via Ugo Bassi 6 in Milan or at Viale Sacco e Vanzetti 89 in Rome.

Meanwhile, thanks to the restart jackpot, the winning six SuperEnalotto numbers will raise €26,5 million starting from the next draw: a 'nest egg' built from all the draws following the last six in which no 5+ numbers were drawn, with half of the second prize category's prize pool increasing the jackpot, while the remaining 50% goes to the restart prize pool.
