(Adnkronos) – The diesel agreement between Russia and the United States could bring the war in Ukraine closer to an end and stop the massacres of children on both sides. Fox News, through Rachel Campos-Duffy, offers this interpretation following the agreement announced by Donald Trump. The US president, after his telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, announced the agreement with Moscow: Washington is lifting energy sanctions and Russia will supply diesel to the US.
"What people on the left and right are worried about... And Zelensky too, these people want war and say that a diesel deal with Russia could end the war with Ukraine. And that would be fantastic. We'd spend less money there and stop the killings," Campos-Duffy says before reeling off figures that, in relation to the victims caused by Ukrainian actions in particular, are completely unfounded.
“I mean, a million children were killed on the Russian side.
"A million on the Ukrainian side," he says, equating the effect of the attacks by the aggressor and the attacked. The agreement, he concludes, "could be positive not only for the price of diesel but also if we care about peace and want to save lives."
