(Adnkronos) – "I took my parents' separation very hard." In her first television interview, airing today, Saturday, September 19, on Verissimo, Chanel Totti recounts to Silvia Toffanin one of the most delicate moments of her life and how, as a daughter, she coped with the separation between Francesco Totti and Ilary Blasi.
A period made even more difficult by the great media attention towards his family: “On social media and around, they talked a lot, saying mean things or perhaps things that were not true.
And she adds: "Only we know what we've been through." From the separation to the new chapter in her mother's life: when Silvia Toffanin asks her how she experienced the recent marriage between Ilary Blasi and entrepreneur Bastian Müller, Chanel replies: "If she's happy, I'm happy too. That's the most important thing, that's all I want."
During the interview, Chanel also talks about when, still a child, she began to realize her surname: “As a child, I felt observed because I was 'daughter of'.”
Many times I felt uncomfortable." And she confesses: "I always started playing sports with a friend I already knew, to feel more protected."
Finally, regarding her future, Chanel reveals: “I would love to become a young mother to have the bond I have with mine, to have a few years between us so we can grow together.”
Chanel Totti is the second child of Ilary Blasi and Francesco Totti, born in 2007.
In 2026, she took part in the show Pechino Express, winning it with family friend Filippo Laurino. Together, they formed the duo "Recommended."
The young woman has never hidden the difficult time she went through in 2022 due to her parents' separation. During the Sky reality show, she opened up about her grief, clearly stating that finding out her parents' love was over was "the saddest moment of" her "life."
