The France coach lost his mother and returned home to attend the funeral, temporarily leaving the national team's training camp. He will therefore not be leading the team in the upcoming training sessions and will not be on the bench for the final Group I match, on Friday against Norway.
Currently, management of the team has been entrusted to his assistant, Guy Stéphan, who will oversee the group until the coach's return.
