Komyshuvakha, Nov. 2 (askanews) – In Ukraine, a Russian airstrike hit a school where humanitarian aid was being distributed and a nearby shelter in the Zaporizhia region, in the town of Komyshuvakha. According to President Volodomyr Zelensky, after the first airstrike, while aid was being distributed, a second one arrived, "with nine more bombs," hitting the shelter where people had taken refuge. "The Russians could not have been unaware that every week the local population remaining in Komyshuvakha received humanitarian aid there," Zelensky emphasized, "and this is further proof that Russia does not want any de-escalation, nor any real justice.
After the humanitarian operation in Oleshky, there was a moment when the next steps could have demonstrated that peace was possible. With these killings, Russia is sending the exact opposite signal: it is counting on further killings.”
