Milan, 4 November (askanews) – EU High Representative Kaja Kallas hopes the new US Congress will support Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia, following the Democrats' clear victory over President Donald Trump's Republicans. "Of course, US voters have clearly expressed their choice," Kallas said. "I hope the new Congress and the new Senate will continue to support Ukraine and put more pressure on Russia; I hope this happens, because, as you know, Europe and the United States are much stronger together.
It's also important to send unequivocal messages to Russia, so that, under this pressure, it will end this war. So, yes, let's see what happens now."
