Giovanni Pernice doesn't mince his words and responds in kind to Guillermo Mariotto. Sparks fly in the new episode of Dancing with the Stars after Pernice performed a waltz with Noemi Bocchi that put the judges to sleep. When it was time for him to comment, Mariotto faked a yawn and accused the dance instructor of having "gotten swollen," a reference to his partner Bianca Guaccero.
"You're not here, you're not yourself. You don't have the guts to face La Rocca properly. Do your homework and go..." Mariotto exclaimed, comparing the two masters.
A provocation to which Pernice responded bluntly: “I too have learned to know Mariotto over the years and I no longer pay attention to what he says.
"This is pure dance, something that perhaps you... obviously, aren't capable of understanding. Here, to each their own, he is a professional in his work and I am in mine," replied the dance instructor, clarifying that there is a difference between a paso doble – performed in the third episode by La Rocca – and his waltz.
"You'll have the guts when you need them, but you don't need them in a waltz. And if you didn't like it, I'm sorry."
"Finally, some blood and sand," Matano adds ironically, taunting the dance instructor. "So if anyone gives a negative comment, then you're a terrible judge," referring to the disagreement with Eugenio Finardi. "You have to accept it, we're the jury. But don't say he doesn't understand anything because he's been here since the first episode," he says, recalling that Mariotto has been on the judging panel for 21 years. These words didn't deter the judge: "It's boring," Mariotto continues to repeat, dismissing the dance.
