New twists and turns in the "Temptation Island and then... and then..." special. In today's episode, the first of two planned—the second and final will air next Monday—the couples who faced off again before Filippo Bisciglia were Sabrina and Giovanni, Sara and Gabriele, Bernadette and Diamante, and Francesca and Danilo.
Sabrina and Giovanni had decided to go their separate ways during the final confrontation bonfire, a decision also confirmed in the special episode 'one month later'.
During tonight's special, Sabrina apologized again to her ex-boyfriend: "I apologize because I realize I treated you terribly. I feel guilty," she said, trying to hold back tears. Sabrina admitted that she had repeatedly tried to confront him away from the cameras, but was unsuccessful.
Giovani remained firm in his decision: “I wish her all the best, but I put myself, my happiness, my family, and my work first.”
But then Sabrina revealed a new behind-the-scenes story that changed everything. The young woman allegedly came into possession of an old chat between Giovanni and a girl, dating back to when they were still a couple. The revelation infuriated the young man, who lost control during the confrontation.
So much so that Filippo Bisciglia intervened to calm the situation: "You have to calm down, you're making a mistake, you're getting too worked up." After accusing her of paying too much attention to social media and not enough to reality, the bonfire ended exactly as it had begun: Sabrina and Giovanni returned home separately.
Gabriele and Sara's confrontation, however, was marked by mutual accusations and moments of intense tension. Sara was the one who asked to meet her ex-boyfriend, having been displeased with some of Gabriele's comments during the last episode.
The young woman was reportedly "shocked" because what happened wasn't what her ex-boyfriend reported. Sara accused Gabriele of "denying his feelings" and, above all, of trying so hard to appear the "strong" one in the couple. From there, a back-and-forth ensued: Sara accused him of making snide comments on social media, while Gabriele claimed he'd completely moved on. "It doesn't matter to me now," he admitted without a second thought.
"You broke me. We were together for seven years, and I wanted children with you. I was with you to be with you, and it's normal that after seven years I'm asking you to talk and see each other, because it's not normal to break up mid-plan." These were Sara's statements, visibly disappointed by the way their love story ended.
Everything is going swimmingly for Diamante and Bernadette, who, after their experience on Temptation Island, are ready to tie the knot. Wedding preparations are still in their early stages, but the couple is already looking to the future. During their meeting, Filippo Bisciglia and the editorial staff decided to plan a special surprise: a honeymoon.
Francesca has moved on. After Danilo's decision to end their relationship, based on chats he found with single Marco, Francesca moved on and blocked Danilo on social media. In today's discussion, she doesn't back down and remains firm in her decision: "There's no one else in my life. But love can end." A sudden change that, however, doesn't convince Danilo: "She's changed as a person, and I'm not the only one saying that."
