The insulation of the last attic allows you to exploit an unused space, such as a non-habitable attic, to minimize heat loss from the roof.
This intervention is particularly effective in the case of single and two-family homes in which the roof, if poorly insulated, represents one of the main sources of waste. To obtain optimal performance it is necessary to reach an adequate thermal transmittance value (parameter which indicates the flow of heat through a surface and which must be as low as possible), therefore it is recommended to use insulation with a thickness greater than 12 cm to align with the parameters indicated by Legislative Decree 311 for new buildings.
