The Auditions phase of X Factor 2026 has concluded. Tonight, Thursday 24 September, on Sky and streaming on NOW, the final group of artists aspiring to be among the 12 protagonists of this year's Sky Original show produced by Fremantle will parade in front of the judging table composed of Francesco Gabbani, Irama, Jake La Furia and Paola Iezzi.
Host Giorgia will be leading the charge in this final chapter of the first selection phase: new talents will arrive on the Allianz Cloud stage to make themselves known to the judges both through their voices and, above all, through their music and their talent.
The goal is always the same: get at least three yeses to secure passage to the next stage, Bootcamp. And this week, the quartet will once again meet surprising artists and songwriters with already evident talent, young people coming to X Factor to test themselves, perhaps their very first experience on stage, or more unique and unpredictable performers capable of sparking debate among the judges.
Heterogeneous, original, and always different proposals, among which each of the four is called upon to understand in a few minutes if there is an 'X Factor' they can work with and on which to build a path together, trying to imagine and define their own objectives and strategies from now on.
Backstage, to encourage the artists before they enter the stage and to welcome them back a moment after the judges' verdict, but also to support friends and relatives who are often more anxious than the artists themselves, the host Giorgia, who at the end of the long parade of aspiring contestants will proclaim the Auditions phase concluded.
As mentioned, in this final initial round of casting, to advance to the next round, the quartet will need to convince the group, or at least get at least three yeses. Only those who succeed will have the chance to perform again during the Bootcamps, the second stage of the selection process, which will take place over the next two Thursdays, October 1st and 8th, again on Sky and streaming on NOW, always available on demand and viewable on Sky Go (and, as always, also free-to-air every Tuesday on TV8 and every Wednesday on Cielo).
Once the Bootcamps are completed, the final hurdle will arrive: the Last Calls. Through the tense and thrilling process of filling chairs between each switch, they will determine this year's 12 official contestants, divided into four trios, one for each judge. They will be the undisputed stars of #XF2026, animating the Live Shows, starting Thursday, October 22nd.
