Basciano and Codegoni's relationship began in 2021 , when they met in the Big Brother VIP house. After living together, a marriage proposal, and the birth of their daughter in May 2023 , the relationship began to strain, culminating in the influencer filing a lawsuit in December of that year.
According to the prosecution's reconstruction, the woman was subjected to behavior characterized by verbal aggression, attempts at control, and constant intrusions into her private life.
The alleged incidents include threatening voice messages, stalking, and a large number of phone calls and video calls, reportedly as many as 50-60 a day. The charges also include an incident in Paris on September 27, 2024, during an attempted reconciliation, when Basciano allegedly grabbed his ex-partner's neck during an argument.
These are circumstances that will have to be verified during the trial, through the examination of witnesses and the reconstruction of the facts.
The proceedings had already gone through a precautionary phase: Basciano was arrested in November 2024 and released less than 48 hours later. Subsequently, a ban on approaching Codegoni was imposed, with the application of an electronic bracelet . This measure was confirmed by the Supreme Court in April 2025 and implemented the following August. The measure was then revoked in March 2026. Ahead of the trial, the DJ's lawyer stated his confidence: " We are convinced that in the trial, where we will hear all the witnesses, the truth will emerge ." D'Erasmo also expressed his hope that the matter will be addressed in court without turning into a media trial. A committal for trial does not constitute a conviction: it will be up to the court to evaluate the evidence and establish any liability.
