Who was Andrea Moretti, the young worker who died?
Andrea Moretti came from a village of a thousand inhabitants in the province of Teramo . He was a rock climber , a highly sought-after figure on construction sites. Despite his 22 years, he had already gained a wealth of experience.
Before working, he had graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence , but decided to start working immediately after graduation. He had followed in the footsteps of his father , also a worker now disabled following a work-related accident many years ago, and of many other fellow villagers.
A loss that saddens the entire community, the mayor of his home town, Crognaleto, Orlando Persia, wanted to speak to the press: “ I met him on September 8th, he was very happy to work at the Colosseum ” reports Leggo.it.
