(Adnkronos) – The parents of the two-year-old girl who died on Wednesday, September 9, at the Buzzi Hospital in Milan have filed a complaint with the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office. In the complaint, the family reconstructs the events surrounding the little girl, who was taken in late afternoon by staff at the emergency room at the Rho hospital and, following a cardiac arrest, was urgently transferred to the children's hospital, where she died.
Buzzi filed a complaint with the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the case. Prosecutor Rosaria Stagnaro seized the medical records, and has yet to schedule an autopsy. Before the medical investigation, the Prosecutor's Office will have to decide which and how many doctors to investigate, a necessary step to allow the parties' consultants to participate in the autopsy.
