Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – “We have created, together with our partners, a space for discussion and study to help companies navigate technological choices and identify the solutions best suited to their production needs and their innovation and efficiency goals.” This is how Marco Brunetti, president of Sonepar in Italy, comments on the opening of the new Industry Experience Center in Prato, a space dedicated to manufacturing technologies.
The Center, housed in the renovated headquarters at Via del Lazzeretto 53, integrates applications in industrial automation, robotics, computer vision, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and process control.
Developed with the support of technology partners ABB Kuka, Omron, Schneider Electric, and Siemens, it is aimed at manufacturing companies, installers, system integrators, and panel builders, with demonstration and training activities.
“This project,” Brunetti added, “confirms Sonepar’s desire to invest in local areas and support our country’s manufacturing vocation.”
Through its Industry Business Unit, the company combines product supply with specialized consulting services, technical design support, and training, to support companies on their journeys of innovation, transformation, and growth.
