(Adnkronos) – RAI journalist Christiana Ruggeri, born in Rome on January 28, 1969, has died. She was the editor-in-chief of Tg2's science desk, a writer, and author of essays. Last February, she published a biography of Ferdinand Porsche. A passionate photography enthusiast, she worked for many years on Tg2's foreign desk, where she produced numerous reports, and also anchored the news.
"Unirai Figec," a statement reads, "shares with the Tg2 editorial staff in their grief and expresses its deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of her colleague, especially her beloved daughter. With deep sorrow, we remember her great passion for social issues, her intense love for animals, and her strong bond with Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region to which she recently dedicated an episode of Tg2 Dossier on the 50th anniversary of the earthquake."
