Brescia, October 23 (askanews) – Clerici Lab, the training project promoted by the Clerici Group to introduce younger generations to professions in the plumbing and heating and bathroom furnishings sectors, is back with its third edition. The inauguration took place in the foyer of the Clerici Theater in Brescia, bringing together over 30 young participants ready to embark on the new training program. The new edition, created in collaboration with Randstad and ITS Academy Machina Lonati, further expands the project.
Three IFTS programs are planned for the 2026-2027 academic year, with classroom teaching in Brescia, Bergamo, and Lodi. "Today we are inaugurating the third edition of Clerici Lab, a training program designed to connect school and traditional education with the world of work. The students will come to work with us and, at the same time, continue their studies and take exams.
They will follow a paid program where, by working alongside our staff in our stores, they will gain a hands-on understanding of what it means to work,” said Paolo Clerici, President of the Clerici Group. This initiative strengthens the dialogue between schools and businesses and invests in the skills of the next generation, with the aim of guiding them towards concrete professional opportunities and a vision for the future.
“I'd like to broaden our horizons. We're now in our third year and have so far activated three classes: one the first year, two the second, and three this year. In the coming years, the goal is to have four, five, or six, even going beyond regional boundaries. We currently operate between Brescia, Bergamo, and Lodi, but it would be great to expand to other regions where we operate, such as Tuscany in Florence, Lazio in Rome, or Veneto. There's no shortage of space and outlets, and the kids are here: we just need to organize ourselves and carefully study the different regional school regulations, but we'll get there,” added Clerici. In Brescia, the opening day was also an opportunity to put themselves to the test straight away. The kids participated in "The Postcard of the Future," an activity dedicated to aspirations and career prospects, and in a team workshop, where they experimented with different roles, collaborated, and shared the results of their work in plenary. We then gave space to the young people who took part in the project: "The morning is going very well, because it's giving us the opportunity to all collaborate together. We were given the opportunity to develop a project in which, by putting the pieces together like a puzzle, we were able to define a common result. This represents a huge step forward towards true cohesion among all of us." "We came together from the three different courses—Lodi, Brescia, and Bergamo—which is us, to work together as a true team, the same team that will become part of the Clerici Group in the future. We are carrying out an activity similar to a puzzle, in which we must collaborate to put all the pieces together and achieve a common goal." With the third edition of Clerici Lab, the Clerici Group renews its commitment to training and career guidance, creating new opportunities for young people, schools, and the world of work to meet.
