This was stated by Daniele Gizzi, national president of the Register of Environmental Managers, at Ecomondo, where he illustrated the change introduced by Rentri, the national electronic register for waste traceability.

Coming into force in 2025, the system has digitized loading and unloading records and, as of September 16, all forms accompanying waste transportation. The public portal rentri.gov.it also allows citizens and operators to access real-time information on waste movements across the country.
