It's crucial to make the most of all the technologies and skills acquired in recent years, because there's still much to discover in this sector to fully protect critical infrastructure, our digital communication routes, and energy."
We're working with the National Underwater Dimension Center to ensure Italy can become a center of excellence, going beyond its existing capabilities. AIAD is a founding member of the Center and the foundation, and through its network of large companies and SMEs, it provides essential support for building the network of excellence we need to ensure Italy can be truly competitive in the sector.
Roberta Pinotti, president of the Fondazione Polo Nazionale della Dimensione Subacquea, declared this at the AIAD Media Space “en directe!” at Euronaval 2026, currently underway in Paris.
