Gerry Scotti and Samira Lui respond to Fiorello during the latest episode of "La Pennicanza." The showman, in recent days, had made a tongue-in-cheek plea to Mediaset: "They've been on air for 494 days straight, free them! Let them go out for pizza, a night at the movies, a jog with Tony Effe... anything!" And now the two Wheel of Fortune stars have jointly responded. 

“Grazie Fiore del tuo bellissimo appello, lo abbiamo apprezzato molto”, hanno detto Scotti e Lui in un video mandato in onda dallo stesso Fiorello, “vorremmo tranquillizzare tutti, siamo in assoluta libertà”.

“Stiamo benissimo, è tutto a posto”, ha assicurato Lui, prima dei calorosi saluti di Scotti: “Grazie, ciao Fiore”. 

Once the shot widened, however, the two were shown in front of a chain, another way to joke and 'play along' with Fiorello.
