Adnkronos (Adnkronos) – Intesa SanPaolo has received prior authorization from the European Central Bank to acquire a direct controlling stake in MPS and indirect controlling stakes in Wise Dialog Bank, Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario, Mediobanca Premier, and Compass Banca, as well as a qualified indirect stake in Banca Progetto.
At the same time, the European Central Bank has granted authorization to acquire a stake in MPS and its subsidiaries whose overall value exceeds 10% of the Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Group's consolidated equity.
Intesa Sanpaolo has also received advance authorization from the Bank of Italy to acquire indirect controlling stakes in Monte Paschi Fiduciaria, Spafid, Mbps Leasing, MBCredit Solutions, MbFacta, and Mediobanca Sgr, as well as qualified indirect stakes in Fidi Toscana and the Generali Group's asset management companies.
