The Garlasco case is about to reach a significant turning point with the summons of Chiara Poggi's brother, Marco, who was interviewed by investigators this morning to provide his version of events regarding his sister's murder, which took place in the family home on August 13, 2007.
Why Marco Poggi was called up
he was summoned by the Pavia Prosecutor's Office first and foremost because person informed of the facts and therefore able to provide useful information to solve the case, in particular it would be able to guarantee the Prosecutor's Office more information regarding what happened in the days before and after the sister's murder.
Another very important aspect, on which the Prosecutor's Office is focusing and which it is exploiting through the presence of Marco Poggi, is the relationship between him and Andrea Sempio, now considered the main suspect in the murder of Chiara Poggi.
Their friendship will be examined by investigators in order to understand in more detail what their relationship really represented and if there could be connections with Chiara despite the age difference.
He, the only attraction between Chiara and Andrea Sempio
In particular in the analysis carried out by the experts at Mattino 5, as reported by TheSocialPost can “just be him”, referring to Marco Poggi, the glue between Andrea Sempio and Chiara Poggi.
Indeed It is the friendship between Marco and Andrea that allowed Sempio, now under investigation, to be able to meet Chiara and therefore to guarantee a point of contact.
In short, his role could radically change both the imagery constructed around the crime, which saw Stasi as the sole culprit, and the mistakes made by investigators immediately after the murder was committed.
The case remains open, and Marco Poggi's role may be much more significant than previously thought.
