(Adnkronos) – The Rome prosecutor's office will send the file relating to the investigation into the assault on actor Davide Iacopini (who remains hospitalized in intensive care at San Camillo Hospital) and five other people between October 4th and 5th in the Monteverde and Testaccio neighborhoods to the Juvenile Court today.
The confessed perpetrators, aged sixteen and seventeen, the latter the son of a Carabiniere, were identified after investigations by the Carabinieri and local police, coordinated by Deputy Prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini and Public Prosecutor Ambrogio Cassiani, and charged at large with attempted murder and assault.
Once the documents have been received, the juvenile prosecutor's office, after opening the case, may decide to interview the two youths, order any precautionary measures, or request further investigations.
The two were identified thanks to the testimony of a mechanic who reported having installed on a minicar some LEDs, a red light on the license plate, and stickers, one of which depicted a snake, which matched the characteristics of the wanted car.
Their movements were reconstructed using an app installed on one of the men's cell phones, which allows remote location of their devices. The young man driving the black minivan lives in Monteverde, while the friend who was with him in the car is from Testaccio. One of the men celebrated his birthday between October 4th and 5th, one of the nights of the attacks.
“That night we had so much fun,” is what the two minors essentially said.
