(Adnkronos) – As the hours pass, the sleuthing around those responsible for the assaults that occurred between October 4th and 5th in Rome by two people, possibly minors, aboard a black electric minicar is tightening. The Carabinieri, investigating alongside local police, are combing through footage from the numerous surveillance cameras in the area between Monteverde Vecchio and Testaccio, aiming to trace the vehicle's license plate or identify the minicar's occupants among the many images being examined by investigators.
Meanwhile, prosecutor Ambrogio Cassiani, in charge of the attempted murder case, interviewed the man who reported the theft of his minicar, which matches the color and model of the one used in at least six assaults. The latest is that of a man who reported being attacked with a plastic pipe late on Sunday evening, October 4th, while walking along Viale dei Quattro Venti by two men in a black minicar.
Meanwhile, actor Davide Iacopini remains hospitalized in intensive care at San Camillo Hospital and is in serious condition. He was kicked on Monday, October 5, in Via Anton Giulio Barrili while riding a scooter, which then crashed into a car parked on the sidewalk.
