(Adnkronos) – "This is an important day for us because we're introducing the Doctoral School of the Campus Biomedico University of Rome, which is entering a new research system focused on internationalization and training. Our researchers will focus not only on scientific research, but also on developing potentially innovative ideas that can lead to patents, create new spin-offs, and, above all, promote technology transfer."
Rocco Papalia, rector of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, said this during the event 'Shaping What's Next, Shaping the Future' at the La Nuvola Congress Center in Rome.
"This," he added, "will also be possible through the addition to our organizational structure of the new director of the Doctoral School, Professor Marco Paggi, former deputy vice-rector of the IMT in Lucca. He will undoubtedly give us a major boost thanks to his specific skills, which will not only bring about significant internationalization—very important for doctoral schools, especially in terms of cross-fertilization with other research figures—but will also help our researchers excel, along with the entire team, ready to do a formidable job."
