(Adnkronos) – "It's a pleasure to welcome the Codau traveling council here, in this new way of holding council meetings at universities, to visit them, get to know each other, and spark new ideas and collaborations." This was stated by Andrea Rossi, CEO and Director General of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, during the Codau council meeting, hosted by the Roman university.
The meeting brought together representatives of the body of directors general of Italian universities, with a day dedicated to learning about the facilities of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and discussing activities and prospects for collaboration between the universities.
“I take this opportunity to wish a big 'good luck' to the new president of Codau, Vincenzo Tedesco, to the vice-presidents Lucia Colitti and Pietro Di Benedetto, and to all my colleagues on the Board,” said Rossi, recalling the role of the organisation in the Italian university system.
"Codau represents a very useful experience for the entire Italian university system. After two terms as a representative of private universities, I now manage relations with the National Health Service and the Ministry of Health. It's an honor to serve on the Board in this capacity, and I hope to be able to contribute to all my colleagues," he explained.
Finally, a speech was dedicated to Antonella Rago, Director General of LUM, who has taken over as representative of the non-state universities. "It is now her responsibility to continue this close synergy and collaboration among the universities in the system," Rossi concluded.
