Adnkronos Digital sovereignty, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and energy were the focus of the conference "Sovereign Data Centers – Energy, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity," organized by Confassociazioni Digital in the New Parliamentary Groups Hall of the Chamber of Deputies in Rome. The event brought together representatives of institutions, government, and businesses to discuss the role of digital infrastructure in the technological autonomy of Italy and Europe.
The challenge is to build governable technological interdependencies, preventing dependence on single suppliers or foreign operators from compromising the country's ability to manage its essential functions.
