(Adnkronos) – From bespoke tailoring to the new frontiers of sustainability for your big day. Trends and innovations in the wedding industry will once again take center stage from October 30th to November 1st at Romasposa - International Bridal Show, the most anticipated and beloved event for couples and anyone looking to discover countless ideas and solutions for planning parties and receptions.

The 62nd edition of the event will be held in the iconic spaces of Fuksas's La Nuvola, which will open its doors to thousands of visitors—over 20 in 2025—interested in discovering the finest offerings from this year's 300+ exhibitors in one place. Not just weddings: Romasposa also welcomes all celebrations, including birthdays, religious events, graduations, hen and stag parties, and anything else that represents a festive moment in a person's life.

From birth, or even before: increasingly in demand are services for organizing gender reveal parties (to find out if the baby will be a boy or a girl) and baby showers, to honor the mother-to-be and her unborn child with special attention, including gifts, games, and fun. These two celebrations originated in the United States and are increasingly popular and attended in Italy as well.

On display at Romasposa 2026 are solutions from the various categories that make up the events and wedding sector, including locations, entertainment, decorations, favors, dresses, hairstyling, makeup, photography, car rentals, and honeymoons.

Over 2000 wedding and party brands representing 15 different product sectors will be present at the Rome trade show, offering an opportunity to receive advice that meets the most diverse needs, on a 360° journey through the world of weddings and celebratory events. The Wed Academy area will also showcase innovative creations for a unique and sophisticated wedding, a laboratory of ideas where industry professionals and artists will guide couples in discovering all the imaginable potential for their big day, in a true style academy dedicated to the wedding ceremony. The eagerly awaited fashion shows, with more than 1000 gowns on the runway, offer a snapshot of bridal and ceremony trends, under the banner of creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.

A true style academy dedicated to the wedding ceremony, offering innovative creations for a unique and sophisticated wedding: the Wed Academy returns to Romasposa in 2026, a laboratory of ideas where industry professionals and artists guide couples in discovering all the imaginable potential for their wedding. Inspired by the romantic and decadent aesthetic of "Wuthering Heights," Antonella Rossi's collection draws on wild nature, the intensity of emotion, and that beauty suspended between past and present. Unusual embroidery, seemingly reminiscent of another era, light and precious textures, details suspended on the body, unexpected combinations and contrasts that transform each dress into something personal and unique, creating a romantic and playful bride. The collection also embraces a special moment of the wedding: the reception. For the change of dress, here are more vibrant and surprising creations, where three-dimensional lace, embroidery, sheer effects, and plays on volume transform the bridal look into something new, stylish, and fun. And it is precisely through the party that another chapter in the brand's universe opens: this year at Romasposa, Annagiulia Firenze, the ready-to-wear line, will be present with the "Mediterranea" collection, featuring flowing, luminous fabrics that capture the light like marine surfaces, while unexpected details such as ropes, inlays, shells, and real oysters dipped in gold and silver evoke nets and the world of the sea, becoming contemporary symbols of an ancient imagination.

The line is designed to accompany not only the bride, but also bridesmaids, groomsmen, and family with evening gowns, suits, slip dresses, capes, and lace creations, all custom-made in the atelier. For Bianca d'October, a wedding is also a party, a gala evening, an occasion to be enjoyed with ease: the new collection was created for a contemporary bride, free to choose how to dress at any time of the day. Dresses with clean lines, to be interpreted according to your own style and to be alternated according to the rhythm of the event: the ceremony, the reception, the party. A proposal that makes changing dresses part of the experience, with affordable prices that allow for up to three different looks. Accessories, the key elements of the brand's identity, are given special attention.

Emanuele Bilancia Couture creates poetic and striking creations using precious fabrics, whose selection is enhanced by artistic embroidery, expert cuts, and handcrafted craftsmanship, making each piece a unique, timeless work. Deeply rooted in the history of art and costume, the universe of Daphne Milano intertwines and reinvents itself in contemporary creations, suspended between past and present, with embroidery reminiscent of nature and floral accessories.

Today's bride seeks the perfect balance between aesthetic impact and absolute comfort, desiring garments that can accompany her throughout the day without sacrificing her personality. This makes room for transformable dresses and look changes with modular solutions featuring removable sleeves, overskirts, and accessories that allow for the transition from a classic and elegant ceremony to a dynamic reception. From the long, princess-like dress for the ceremony to the short, daring options for the reception, from the cake cutting to the dancing. The wedding thus becomes a story told in multiple chapters, like the one proposed by Valore Sposi, where each change of dress marks a new experience to be lived and shared.

Impalpable materials and botanical details come to life from the idea of a secret garden in The Secret Garden – The Romantica Collection, intimate and atmospheric, where nature, light, and design meet: on-trend silhouettes that alternate softness and structure, enhanced by embroidery, precious textures, and delicate ivory shades. The bride is thus romantic, ethereal, and magnetic, an elegant presence revealed through timeless details, pictorial suggestions, and workmanship inspired by the natural world. Embellishing the designs—designed to interpret different desires and body types—are floral lace and three-dimensional botanical embroidery, dedicated to the most romantic brides, as well as lightweight mikado, for structured yet comfortable and easy-to-wear dresses. Luminous fabrics, clean lines, and delicate floral details, reinterpreted with a contemporary twist, remain highly sought-after. The new Elvira Gramano Bridal Collection puts romance at the center, with full skirts and floral trains in tulle skirts in delicate colors ranging from pink to vermilion for a dreamy and romantic woman.

For brides who are more concerned about sustainable weddings, there's no shortage of options featuring green fabrics with a low environmental impact or styles that can be easily adapted and reused even after the wedding day. In keeping with the concept of temporal continuity, the increasingly popular "preloved" dresses offered this year at Romasposa by Atelier Bianco 02, a second-hand luxury couture archive offering access to sartorial masterpieces designed with sustainability and a focus on affordability (with an average saving of 70% compared to new), combining the allure of genuine silk with a deeply conscious choice. Thus, creations from national and international fashion houses, once beloved, are selected, curated, and given a new lease of life, ready to be chosen again. There's also growing interest in solutions that allow some elements of the dress to be reused even after the wedding, such as overskirts, capes, and removable accessories. What if the dress of your dreams is already in the family closet (as was once the custom) but not yet perfect? The ateliers offer the possibility of customizing an existing model, allowing you to enhance the craftsmanship, reduce waste and extend the life cycle of the garment.

To help you choose the perfect dress, we offer a careful analysis of your silhouette and facial features through consultations, such as those offered by fringe couture, body shape, and face shape, conducted by image consultants specializing in the bridal industry. This approach allows us to identify the most flattering style, transforming the dress selection into a tailor-made project. The consultation also includes defining all the stylistic elements that complete the look—such as accessories, veil, hairstyle, details, and proportions—so that every detail contributes to creating a harmonious, coherent image that perfectly reflects your personality. Makeup is also important, and as makeup artist Francesca Marte points out, more and more brides are abandoning the traditional "soap and fresh" look in favor of more sophisticated, elegant, and impactful looks like the new Arabic Bridal makeup.

As brides-to-be increasingly demand solutions that truly represent them, the collections of national and international brands are also evolving. Each dress is transformed into an exclusive piece, crafted around the wearer's personality with colorful details, hand-crafted embroidery, tailored appliqués, tailored silhouettes, and customized corset, sleeve, or skirt designs, all the way to the creation of unique elements that tell the couple's story, as proposed by Atelier Mara Spose. The key concept is increasingly co-creation. This is also true in the goldsmith industry, where customization reaches its peak thanks to artisan workshops and 3D digital configurators where couples can actively design their own wedding rings, even participating in the process in the workshop, as is the case with Officina Orafa. Creativity, originality, and exclusivity are the hallmarks of the new Romasposa 2026 edition, where visitors can also view the new Hokusai solitaire with a pear-shaped diamond from Romagioielli and the designs designed by art director Alessandro La Leggia. For wedding rings, there is growing interest in mixed metals (yellow/white gold, brushed and finished), gold recycled from electronic waste, and the ethical traceability of raw materials, which is increasingly in demand alongside the aesthetic component.

And what about the honeymoon? Even the journey becomes a tailor-made experience, abandoning standard packages and becoming a bespoke itinerary. Among the most popular destinations, according to Business Class Viaggi, the return of major signature destinations such as Japan, the United States, and the Indian Ocean stands out, increasingly chosen in combination with itinerant tours. China, on the other hand, is experiencing the greatest growth in interest, also driven by the country's greater openness to international tourism, along with Africa, with South Africa increasingly popular for those seeking a combination of safaris, nature, and the ocean. Regarding musical entertainment at Romasposa 2026, Quei Due Music proposes a new vision inspired by the concept of Wedding Sound Design, where music is no longer conceived as a series of discrete moments, but as a true soundtrack accompanying the entire day, following the natural rhythm of the event and the evolving emotions of the newlyweds and their guests.

The wedding day is changing, moving away from static receptions and transforming into a sensory and narrative journey. Among the most popular are ceremonies in the vineyard, in open-air spaces like greenhouses—like the 240-square-meter one offered by Tenuta Il Sogno—and on farmland equipped with independent structures immersed in greenery, where the wedding can be celebrated in complete privacy and in touch with nature. To reduce waste and breathe new life into floral arrangements, flowers are creatively reused to enhance tableaus, centerpieces, and reception details, only to be transformed once again and become a keepsake for guests. Also trending are artisanal food favors featuring typical local products, packaged in recyclable materials, for every taste, such as the offerings presented by Sapori delle Tuscia: from artisanal jams made with seasonal fruit, to organic extra virgin olive oil, to Rugiada di Zafferano, a precious blend of flower honey and saffron pistils, a symbol of tradition and the pursuit of quality.

Among the most elegant and refined wedding favors, those from Thun, a market leader in ceramic products and quality gifts, are a must. Thun is bringing its SS27 "Moments to Remember" ceremony collection to Romasposa, celebrating life's most important moments through objects that capture emotions, express affection, and perpetuate the memory of a special day. The most beloved symbols of the THUN universe take center stage in a meaningful offering: from the heart, a symbol of love and sharing, to the four-leaf clover, a symbol of good luck and fortune. These iconic elements take shape in hand-painted ceramic artisanal creations, designed to be enjoyed every day. Alongside these, new ideas and materials enrich the collection with designs that combine functionality and decorative value, expressing a contemporary and modern taste. Thun thus reinterprets the tradition of wedding favors in a contemporary key, combining its unmistakable style with an innovative vision of gift giving.

To prolong the memory of the celebrations, Fotomatrimoni brings to Romasposa the Endless Wedding, a video and photo reportage of an increasingly popular tradition that involves a series of events and celebrations involving friends and family in a sort of vacation that can last from three to five days. The Catino Foto photography studio combines photojournalism and reportage: each image tells a story, highlighting glances, smiles, hugs, and unique details. Lighting, carefully curated and harmonized with the setting, is an important element in creating evocative and moving images.

On the opening day of the 62nd edition of the Bridal Fair in Rome, Friday, October 30th at 17:00 PM, "Fedele per sempre" (Forever Faithful) will be a special fashion show featuring ten dogs from the Muratella and Ponte Marconi municipal shelters, telling ten stories and ten opportunities for encounters. The goal is to bring the topic of adoption into the spotlight, both on and off the catwalk, precisely where love, family, and the future are discussed, bringing the public closer to a reality often only superficially understood. The initiative—organized by Romasposa in collaboration with the Office of the Guarantor for the Protection and Welfare of Animals and the Department of Agriculture, Environment, and Waste Management of Rome—aims to raise awareness, inform, and support shelters by facilitating adoptions.
