"Medicine grows not only by reading scientific articles, but also through listening and discussion: this is the incentive to participate in conferences and submit one's contributions. Anyone who has entered the world of scientific speakers and is now in high demand began precisely this way, with brief presentations, then moving on to more substantial presentations, all the way to keynote lectures."
Luigia Romano, president of the Scientific Committee of the SIRM Congress (Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology), made this statement during the Society's 52nd National Congress at the Allianz MiCo in Milan. The conference, titled "Not Just Diagnostics: Exploring the Digital Universe," will continue until November 8th and will address new perspectives in medicine, from the digitalization of processes to the evolution of professional skills.
