Silvia Sardone sues rapper Meloni: "He insulted me and my son."
Silvia Sardone, a member of the European Parliament for the League, has decided to sue Alessandro Meloni, a 26-year-old rapper known as Melons, for aggravated defamation through advertising.
The rapper allegedly described the candidate for Palazzo Marino in a series of sexual acts, using vulgar names. According to the Corriere della Sera, some verses of the song, titled after Silvia Sardone, contain references to the politician's children , both of whom are minors. The song went so viral that it even reached the smartphones of his 17-year-old son's acquaintances, who allegedly sang the most vulgar lyrics to him, both at school and on the subway.
After this, Sardone decided to report Melons, who was forced to appear before the prosecutor's office for questioning. But it didn't end there, as the rapper then decided to write another similar song, again involving Sardone and Matteo Salvini . Melons would later use this song in several videos, which were later re-released, in addition to performing it at concerts, with the audience accompanying him.

As mentioned above, Silvia Sardone has decided to sue rapper Melons for aggravated defamation through advertising. The spread of the songs has had dramatic consequences, especially for her son, who for safety reasons had to transfer to a school in Belgium . The move also required a reorganization of the family's travel plans. The young man has reportedly become closer to his mother, who is busy with European institutional activities, but this has necessitated several trips to Italy to meet his father.
