Milan — Monday, September 7, 2026 – Contents, the European MarTech platform pioneering the orchestration of AI agents, enterprise knowledge, and approval workflows for global brands, announces two management team appointments: Danilo Manfredi, who joined in recent months as General Manager, directly supporting the CEO, and Gaia Lorenzato Rovera, who assumes the role of Head of Sales.

This management strengthening comes at a time when enterprise AI is moving from experimentation to execution. The bottleneck is shifting from technology to the ability to deploy it within complex organizations, across multiple markets, and with enterprise-wide sales cycles. Contents is thus strengthening its commercial and operational presence to consolidate its European leadership, develop its existing presence in the GCC, and prepare for entry into the US market.

Danilo Manfredi — General Manager

Manfredi joins from Satispay, where as Director of Business Development, he led the sales function with over 100 people in Italy, France, and Luxembourg and launched the Welfare business unit. Previously, he was instrumental in driving FlixBus's exponential growth: as Head of Business Development, he primarily built the Italian business to approximately €200 million in revenue, oversaw seven acquisitions in three years, and participated in the expansion of the markets in Spain, Portugal, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Before this significant scale-up experience, he began his career at Procter & Gamble, the corporate world par excellence. Danilo's professional growth also included an Executive MBA at SDA Bocconi, where he also served as a mentor for several years.

Manfredi will support the CEO in leading the company's operations, with responsibilities for business development, growth strategy, partnerships, and geographic expansion, as well as coordinating operations functions.

Gaia Lorenzato Rovera — Head of Sales

With fourteen years of experience in sales and international development, she has worked in the Italian, French, and Spanish markets. She joins from iubenda, where she was Country Manager Italy and then Principal Account Executive for France. Previously, she was General Manager of Wash Out France for the Telepass group, responsible for launching the company in the French market, Key Account Manager Italy at Lengow, and at IDKIDS, where she was Country Manager Italy and Spain for the Consobaby unit. She was named one of Fortune Italia's "50 Most Powerful Women 2025" and one of Forbes Italia's "100 Successful Women 2025," and received the "Most Transformational International Growth Leader 2026" award from Acquisition International. A native Italian and French speaker, she speaks English and Spanish.

Gaia Lorenzato leads Contents' global sales strategy : international sales structure, growth of the enterprise portfolio, and opening of new markets.

"AI in the enterprise is entering a phase where value is no longer measured by the quality of the model, but by the ability to integrate AI into processes, with the rules and approvals that large organizations require. This is the area on which we built our technology, and it's also the most difficult to master from a commercial standpoint. Danilo and Gaia have already addressed this complexity in international companies: this is the experience needed for the phase we are entering," said Massimiliano Squillace, CEO and Founder of Contents.

"Contents' challenge in the coming months will be primarily organizational: defining performance management processes and systems, aligning sales functions with product and marketing, and managing large numbers without sacrificing quality in execution. This is a crucial phase for all successful scale-ups; the goal is to scale without losing the advantage, speed, and expertise that made the company successful in its early years," commented Danilo Manfredi, General Manager of Contents.

"Enterprise clients are rapidly moving towards hyper-personalization in content production. They increasingly require solutions that work across multiple markets and languages, helping them manage growing complexity. My goal is to build a sales organization capable of serving them with the same standards in Europe, the Gulf, and new markets, starting with the consolidation of our existing portfolio," added Gaia Lorenzato Rovera, Head of Global Sales at Contents.

Contents is a European martech platform for large enterprises. It orchestrates AI agents, business knowledge, and approval workflows to transform enterprise information assets into governed business outcomes at scale, from multi-market product launches to regulatory documentation. Model-agnostic by design, it operates in over 25 languages, including 15 Arabic dialects, with 100% retention among enterprise customers. It is listed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking. Founded in 2021 by Massimiliano Squillace, it has raised $25 million from Thomson Reuters Ventures, Alkemia Capital, SparkLabs, and Qatar Development Bank. Headquartered in Milan, Madrid, and Paris, its operations hub for the Middle East is in Doha, with plans to enter new markets already on the roadmap.
