This is part of the statement made by the 26-year-old, arrested on charges of killing the 39-year-old, who was found dismembered and hidden in black bags in an apartment on the northern outskirts of Turin. During the hearing to validate his arrest for murder and the suppression of a corpse, the young man, assisted by lawyer Wilmer Perga, confirmed before the investigating judge the version he had already given to investigators, reconstructing the hours leading up to the crime and the subsequent attempt to dispose of the body. 

According to what emerged from the interrogation, the young man had spent the night consuming alcohol and drugs together with the owner of the house, a teacher, and a man of Filipino origin, both arrested for aiding and abetting and concealing a corpse.

The victim, identified as a drug dealer, arrived later. 

The 26-year-old said that, upon awakening, someone told him that the 39-year-old had stolen money. A violent argument broke out, which degenerated into a fight. When the investigating judge asked him if he had suffocated the victim, the young man claimed he didn't remember what had happened. 

He then reported that he had tried to revive the 39-year-old for about two hours and that, once he realized that every attempt was useless, he and the others present decided to get rid of the body.

The idea, according to his account, was to throw the dismembered body into a lake or river "to make it disappear." For this purpose, black bags, bleach, and a sheet were purchased. "I couldn't take it anymore," the young man later explained, recounting how he called his mother and confided in her what had happened, asking her to call the police.

At the end of the hearing, the judge reserved his decision. He also interviewed the other two detainees: the teacher exercised her right to remain silent, while the Filipino man denied any involvement in the murder, a fact the twenty-six-year-old reportedly confirmed before the investigating judge.
